Meet your photographer:  Hello, I am Dyan McNeely, and the mother of three beautiful daughters.  I found my passion in photography back when my oldest daughter was a newborn.  I enjoyed taking her to studios and watching how they were able to pose her and create unique and one-of-a-kind portraits.  

In 2006, I became a studio photographer in San Diego and specialized in children and family photography.  I eventually branched out into maternity and senior portraits at the studio.

In late 2007, I became paralyzed and for six months, I focused on rehabilitating myself and learning how to walk again.  During that downtime, I decided to finish my degree in Criminal Justice.  

In 2008, I earned my Bachelor's degree.  Due to health constrictions, I was unable to continue pursuing Criminal Justice so I decided to start pursuing photography as a hobby and would enjoy hours of taking portraits of my family and friends. 

In 2012, I was diagnosed with epilepsy and told I needed to avoid work such as photography due to potential seizures.  Despite the risks, I knew I wanted to continue taking portraits and making memories for not only myself but for others.  I decided to pick up a camera again and went back into studio photography.  In 2017, I became a studio manager at a local DFW studio and in late 2017, I opened up my dream business...McNeely Photography.  Here we are in 2023 and I am five years seizure-free, a fifteen-time published and internationally exhibited photographer based in the Tucson/Phoenix area, and grateful I can still provide beautiful and fun memories that last a lifetime.
